He met with us ahead of time to go over details on how to care for our cats and dog, was very responsive, and sent lots of pictures! He sent frequent updates on how everyone was doing, made quick friends with all our animals, and treated our house like his own, leaving everything spotless when he left. This was our first time using Rover because we have such a large network of friends/family who typically pet-sit for us, but we’ll definitely be hiring David again anytime we’re short on pet caretakers.”

When we came home they were very chill and happy. We could tell they had lots of love. We’ve booked on Rover many times and she has been one of the best. Funny side note: Upon returning home, getting settled and taking our pups on an evening walk after it had cooled down we ran into our neighbors across the street and they, unprompted, raved that she was the best sitter they’ve observed at our house. She has completed obedience classes with her own dog, raised foster kittens for the Humane Society, owned and lovingly cared for several dogs, cats, hamsters, and rats, and worked at two wildlife rehabilitation centers. She loves animals and animals love her. CJ is also responsible, mature and calm. She can be trusted to care for your pet, spend lots of time with it and follow instructions carefully.”

About: I have been asked to dog/cat sit multiple times by neighbors and family friends. I have also had at least one dog in my house for my whole life until college where my dogs stayed at home, so I am very well acquainted with how to take care of dogs and cats. Because I am a college student and I do work, I’m mostly available for dog walks to release some of that energy your dogs may have outside or to drop by and visit with your animals for some play and social time :). I don’t have set hours but Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons I am free. I have the utmost respect for my clients, their homes, and their furry friends so I will abide by your rules and precautions in and/or out of your home unless my safety is of concern.

About: I grew up on a farm. I am a retired teacher, responsible, with a reliable vehicle. I have had a number of dogs and cats during my lifetime. I am retired with a part time job on an irregular basis. My job is usually four hours at a time in the evening usually one day a week. I prefer to take care of your pet in your home, where it will be most comfortable. I will follow your routines and rules, and accommodate any dietary needs and restrictions.
